I’m an artist. A storyteller. A seeker of belonging.

My creative journey is inseparable from my life story - one shaped by movement, memory, and the quiet tension of living between worlds.

I was born in Zimbabwe and raised in Malawi, the warm heart of Africa.  My family moved there in 1971, and it was in that vibrant, resourceful land that my love for art took root.  In a place where nothing was wasted, I learned early that creativity thrives in scarcity - that beauty often hides in the overlooked.

My childhood was raw, real, and deeply connected to the land. Later, boarding school in South Africa introduced me to another world entirely. Those early contrasts - lush wilderness and structured institutions shaped the way I see, feel & create.

Now based in Australia, I make work that explores identity, memory, and transformation. I use reclaimed materials to tell stories that live between cultures - layered, textured, and unapologetically personal. My art is rooted in sustainability, but also in the search for meaning - for home, for wholeness, for purpose.

Over time, I’ve learned that when you honour your roots, your story, and embrace your complexities - your work shifts.  It deepens.  It sharpens.  It begins to speak with its own voice.  It becomes undeniably you.

“Finding Home: The Art of Belonging” is my latest project - a documentary and creative offering that traces this path.  It’s a visual narrative of movement and return, of reconciling past and present, of finding home not on a map but in the marrow of who we are.

This isn’t just about art - it’s about my lived experience, layered with memories and now I share this with you.

Through my evolving practice, I open a space for connection: where texture becomes language, and material becomes memory.  You’re invited not just to observe, but to feel - to trace your own story in the surfaces, and perhaps, uncover a deeper sense of purpose in the process.

Because when we engage with what moves us, we begin to create from who we truly are.
